We’re pleased our Hill Country Modern Ranch design has been selected as a main feature of the upcoming Austin Modern Home Tour 2021. The 13th annual event will begin as a LIVE virtual experience.
Due to the recent winter storm/snowpocalypse in Texas, the event has been rescheduled for March 6th/7th. Join us at 11am on Saturday, March 6th for a review of the “Hill Country Modern Ranch” project.
Tour producer James Leasure is delighted to welcome J Christopher Architecture to the 2021 Modern Home Tour. “It’s a unique year, with some surprisingly positive upsides for our event. Chief among them is the first-time participation of J Christopher Architecture. Their Modern Ranch Retreat is an exercise in no-limits rustic modernism that elevates the tour to a must-see event.”
Format
- Join the MA+DS team as they walk through some of Austin’s coolest modern residences, via 3D imaging, with the architects, builders, and designers involved in the project and (occasionally) the owners who live in them.
- Participate in live Q&A and learn the fine details about each home on this year’s tour, then explore the 3D models on your own after the LIVE event ends*.
- Even though we are hopeful for a “normal” tour experience later in 2021, we will likely take a cautious approach and limit tickets significantly. Therefore, having a February Virtual Tour ticket is the *only way* you can guarantee a ticket for any in-person event held later in the year.
- Tickets for the in-person event will be made available to Virtual Event (Feb 27-28) ticket holders first.
- Virtual event ticket holders will have the opportunity to get add-on tickets for the in-person open homes at a significantly reduced rate.
- Some homes on the Virtual event are the property of owners who are privacy-conscious and/or out of the immediate Austin area. Therefore, full 3d models may not be available for viewing.
- There are no age restrictions for the February 27th virtual event, however, because these are private homes, if and when in-person tours resume, tourgoers must be at least 10 years of age. Thank you for understanding!
Can’t join us that weekend for the LIVE show? No problem. The virtual Austin Modern Home Tour segments will be available to view and revisit after the event ends. The virtual ticket gains you access to the segments and models so you can explore them on your own at a time more convenient for you.
* Some homes on the Tour may not be available for in-person touring later in 2021.
